Indiana, Pa. – The Edinboro women's soccer team fell 3-2 to host IUP on Saturday afternoon at South Campus Field.
The Scots got on the board first when
Jenna Jackson put home a rebound on a
Maggie Hays shot in the 25
th minute. Edinboro would take the 1-0 lead into the break.
IUP leveled the score 1-1 in the 59
th minute on a goal from Avery Clanton. Taylor Serrano put the Crimson Hawks ahead 1-2 in the 72
nd minute.
Emily Vogel pulled Edinboro even with her eighth of the season in the 82
nd minute. Hannah Scardina scored the game winner just over two minutes later.
The teams each took 14 shots with the Scots putting 10 on frame and IUP tallied six shots on goal.
Kaylee Lauriel took the loss in net making three saves.
The Scots are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Mercyhurst for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff against the Lakers.
