Men’s Tennis Takes Out #23 Carnegie Mellon

Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's tennis team capped off their weekend at home with a vigorous 5-2 victory over Division III nationally ranked Carnegie Mellon University. With the win, the Edinboro men jump to (3-0) in the regular season. 

Doubles 
The Tartans earned the first point of the match by besting Edinboro in doubles. Carnegie Mellon earned two wins compared to Edinboro's one. The Scot's only doubles win came from Sabio and Palombarini in their 6-2 victory over Wernink and Poh. 

Singles 
Edinboro dug deep and earned five out of six matches in singles. Five points was enough to clinch the match win over Carnegie Mellon. The Scot's lone loss came from Unger who fell to Joshi 7-6 (8), 6-3 in a tight battle.
