Lock Haven, Pa. - Edinboro dropped to a 17-3 result away at Lock Haven on Saturday afternoon. A first half which saw Lock Haven score 13 goals to Edinboro's two, was too much to overcome despite a much different second half which saw only five goals scored.
Savannah Fischer had a career game in goal for Edinboro with 15 saves made, along with three groundball's to keep Edinboro in the game.
The first quarter saw seven Lock Haven goals before
Caroline Zentis got Edinboro on the board with her 12th goal of the season.
Traci Culver netted another for Edinboro in the second quarter for her eighth goal of the season.
As the goal scoring dried up Edinboro still played hard looking for defensive stops and scoring opportunities.
Rylee Jones scored Edinboro's third in the third quarter, now tallying 22 on the season.
The third quarter saw Edinboro have five shots on goal to Lock Haven's four but were unable to convert four of them which could have seen the score closer going into the fourth.
Edinboro did have success from draw control situations with
Traci Culver grabbing seven of the 11 Edinboro had on the day.
