California, Pa. -- The Edinboro women picked up a strong conference win on the road with a 4-3 victory over Cal on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Edinboro women improve to (6-11) overall and (3-3) in conference play. 

Doubles 
In doubles the Vulcans bested Edinboro with two wins out of three. Ana Nadai and Sandra Riecken came away with the Scot's lone win in doubles with a 6-0 win over Kylie Feltenberger and Olivia Hoin. 

Singles 
Entering singles, the Scots needed four points to clinch the win. In dramatic fashion the Edinboro women would deliver with four match wins.  

Cecillia Carayol grabbed her fifth win of the season with her 6-1, 6-4 win over Leandra Guldimann. 

Marina Zottele earned her sixth singles win with a 6-0, 6-3 final over Carmen Duran. 

Maria Clara Salomao completed a near sweep with her 6-0, 6-1 win over Hoin. 

Nadai grabbed her seventh win of the season with her 6-1, 6-2 win over Feltenberger.
