Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots faced Slippery Rock on Wednesday afternoon. The visiting Rock took the result in a 3-24 score line.
 
Edinboro had eight shots with seven on target. Rylee Jones lead the team with five attempts, Traci Culver had two, with Emma Lamica having one.
 
Savannah Fischer had nine saves in the game, facing 38 shots in total with 33 on goal. 
 
The Fighting Scots had 13 successful draw controls, lead by Rylee Jones who secured eight of them.
 
Edinboro's first goal of the afternoon came in the 10th minute of the first quarter through Rylee Jones with a fine solo effort. Jones then added her second through another solo run with a fine finish as she was falling. Jones now has 37 goals with one game remaining.
 
Emma Lamica scored her 14th goal of the season in the fourth. Lamica was found with a long pass by Lexi Boyk, who now has three assists on the season. 
 
Up next for Edinboro is their final game of the season against Gannon University. The game is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start on Apr. 29.
