Edinboro, Pa. – Lacrosse were defeated on Saturday by the visiting Seton Hill Griffins. The match went the way of the traveling team in a 21-4 result.
The scoring went in favor of Seton Hill up until the second quarter. Rylee Jones put Edinboro on the board with her 28th goal of the season midway through the second.
The match saw Edinboro register 10 shots, seven of which were on target. Rylee Jones lead with six attempts at goal, with four finding the target.
A flurry of goals saw Seton Hill control much of the game. Edinboro kept pushing for goals and were successful towards the end of the fourth quarter.
Rylee Jones added another two goals taking her season tally to 30. Emma Lamica was also on target thanks to a Rylee Jones assist, Lamica now has 11 for the season.
Abigail Juzwick continued to lead the team in groundballs, adding another four in the game.
Savannah Fischer had nine saves from 30 shots on goal, taking her season tally to 79.
