York, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swim team finished seventh at the PSAC Fall Frenzy Friday afternoon in York, Pa.
Katelyn Reott scored a pair of top five individual finishes led by a third-place performance in the 50-yard backstroke in a time of 28.41. She also swam a 24.90 to finish fourth in the 50-yard freestyle.
Izzy Hanek finished just behind Reott in the 50 free taking fifth in a time of 25.23. Kirsten Johson also swam the 50-backstroke posting a time of 32.61 to take 18
th. Julia Hixson touched the wall in 38.87 to finish 32
nd.
Edinboro also had a pair of top 10 finishers in the 50-butterfly.
Lillian Dilts was fifth finishing with a time of 27.47 while
Abigail Greene posted a time of 27.79 to take seventh.
Alexis Schrecongost added a fifth-place finish in the 100 individual medley touching the wall in 1:02.84.
Baila Bugara came in 11
th with a final time of 1:05.71 and
Naomi Polito also swam the 100-IM finishing in a time of 1:11.52.
In the 50-yard breaststroke,
Emma Beggs was ninth with a time of 33.15 while Cara Della Toffalo notched a time of 35.57 good for 21
st.
The Scots entered a trio of relay teams into the 200 freestyle relay. Schrecongost, Dilts Reott and Hanek were fifth in a time of 1:41.29. Greene Della Toffalo, Bugara and
Avery Zuk teamed up with a time of 1:45.06 to take 11
th while
Cayla Dibernardo, Johnson, Polito and Beggs were 21
st in 1:54.62.
The Scots return home next Friday to take on Westminster at 6 p.m. inside McComb Fieldhouse.
