Greensburg, Pa. – The Edinboro women's soccer team wrapped up the 2024 season with a 1-1 tie at Seton Hill Saturday afternoon.
The Griffins got on the board first when Brenna Springer finished a rebound off a header into the net in the 13
th minute.
Edinboro tied the game when
Sarah Tomko finished a pass from
Reece Enochs in the 32
nd minute.
The Scots outshot the Griffins 12-9 overall and 9-4 on goal. They also held a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Samantha Saylor led the Edinboro offense with three shots on goal.
Emily Vogel totaled five shots and also put three on net.
Kaylee Lauriel made three saves and allowed one goal between the pipes.
The Scots finished the year 5-7-4 overall and 5-7-2 in PSAC-West play.
