Greensburg, Pa. -- The Edinboro softball team dropped a pair of games to host Seton Hill Thursday afternoon in PSAC West action at the Seton Hill University Softball Complex.
The Scots fell 11-1 in the opener before dropping a 17-1 decision in the nightcap with both games ending in the fifth inning.
How it Happened Game One
The Griffins jumped out early scoring four runs in each of the first two innings to build an 8-0 lead. Seton Hill added a run in the third and two insurance tallies in the fourth to push the advantage to 11-0. 
Adeline Maguire hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth scoring 
Kearson Wagner for the Scot run.
By the Numbers
The Scots tallied three hits in the game coming from Maguire, Wagner and 
Isabella Becker with all three hits going for extra bases. 
Jordan Lauer took the loss in the circle allwing seven runs, five earned in 1.2 innings pitched. 
Lexi Frisina came on in relief allowing four runs, three earned in 2.1 innings with a strikeout.
How it Happened Game Two
Seton Hill put up five spots in each of the first two innings and lead 17-0 after four innings. 
Elizabeth Clark singled home 
Maura Pasquale in the top of the fifth to get Edinboro on the board.
By the Numbers
The Scots scattered five hits over the lineup. Maguire, Becker, Pasquale, Clark and 
Ashley Rose each tallied a knock for Edinboro. 
Lauren Bush took the loss in the circle in game two.

The Scots return to action on Friday with a trip to IUP for another PSAC West doubleheader. First pitche is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Ruth Podbielski Field.
