Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro lacrosse team dropped an 18-6 decision to visiting Gannon in the final contest of the season Friday afternoon inside Sox Harrison Stadium.

Gannon scored first on a Mckenna Woodworth tally.
Traci Culver answered for the Scots with a goal at the 10:58 mark of the first. The Golden Knights scored the next two goals to take a 3-1 lead with 3:32 remaining in the opening frame.
Angelina Anderson scored with 2:52 on the clock cutting the lead to 3-2 after the first.
In the second, Gannon scored the first four goals to build a 7-2 advantage. Jones broke the run with an unassisted tally with 8:37 showing in the second. Anderson notched her second of the game at 6:44 to trim the lead to 7-4. Gannon scored with 6:13 left, but goals from
Marissa Birchard and
Jacqui Detelich pulled the Scots within 8-6 at the half.
The Golden Knights locked down defensively and outscored the Scots 10-0 in the second half to secure the win.

Jones led the offense with three points on a goal and two assists. Anderson added two points on a pair of goals while Culver tallied two points on a goal and a helper.
