Erie, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swimming team finished the regular season with a 115-89 win over host Gannon Friday night.
The Scots got out of the gate fast winning the 400-yard medley relay team of
Izzy Hanek,
Emma Beggs,
Lillian Dilts and
Abigail Greene finishing first with a time of 4:07.31.
In the 1,000-freestyle,
Alexis Schrecongost touched the wall in 11:05.65 to take first place. In the 500-freestyle, Schrecongost turned in a swim of 5:28.91 to grab second place.
Katelyn Reott scored a first-place finish of her own in the 50-freestyle with a time of 23.95. Reott was also first in the 100-backstroke with a time of 59.73.
Avery Zuk was third in the 100-back touching in 1:04.09.
Eliza Miller, fresh off her PSAC Athlete of the Week honors, swam a 2:12.12 in the 200 individual medley finishing over seven seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Miller added a first-place finish in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:07.09 and Beggs was second posting a time of 1:10.06.
The 100-freestyle saw the Scots grab the top two spots with Hanek finishing first with a time of 53.89 and Dilts checking in with a time of 54.55.
Cara Della Toffalo was second in the 200-freestyle with a time of 2:00.82.
Baila Bugara was second in the 100-butterfly with a time of 1:01.91 while Della Toffalo was third in a time of 1:02.64.
The Scots closed out the meet with Reott, Miller, Schrecongost and Hanek winning the 200-freestyle relay with a time of 1:38.57.
The Scots are back in action on Feb. 17 when they travel to the PSAC Championships in York, Pa.
