Indiana, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swim team kicked off the 2025-26 season at the Crimson Hawk Fall Invitational and Sprint Frenzy on Friday.
 
The 400-medley relay quartet of Izzy Hanek, Alexis Schrecongost, Uxue Navarro and Eliza Miller took second with a time of 4:05.32.
 
Miller got her individual season underway with a second-place finish in the 200 individual medley touching the wall in 2:11.96.
 
Katelyn Reott finished the 100-backstroke in 1:02.41 good for fifth. In the 100-breaststroke, Schrecongost was fourth in a time of 1:10.72. The Fall Invitational wrapped up with Hanek, Lillian Dilts, Navarro and Miller teaming up to place second in the 400-freestyle relay in a time of 3:39.86.
 
During the Sprint Frenzy portion of the day, Reott, Schrecongost, Dilts and Hanek checked in at 1:50.92 in the 200 medley relay to place second.
 
Miller notched a first-place finish in the 100-freestyle posting a time of 54:36. Schrecongost also picked up a first-place finish in a time of 31.58 in the 50-breaststroke. Emma Beggs was third touching the wall in 32.83.
 
In the 50-freestyle, Reott turned in a 25.32 to finish third just ahead of Hanek in fourth with a time of 25.32. Dilts was third in the 50-butterfly finishing in 27.19.
 
Miller, Hanek, Navarro and Reott closed out the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 200-freestyle relay with a time of 1:41.28.
