Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's wrestling team has announced their 2025-26 schedule.
"The season is right around the corner, and we're extremely excited to release our schedule," said head coach
Matt Hill. "We have many challenging duals and events that will prepare our guys to earn spots at the NCAA Tournament in Cleveland."
The Scots will open the season with the annual wrestle offs on Oct. 23. There will be a trunk or treat prior to wrestling starting as well as a costume contest.
"We kick things off October 23rd with Wrestle-Offs—a full event with a tailgate, Halloween activities, a costume contest, and Trunk or Treat for the kids," Hill said. "Throughout the season, fans can also look forward to mat-side socials with drinks and appetizers, along with other exciting theme nights."
The regular season gets underway with a pair of opens first at the Clarion Open on Nov. 2 and then a trip to the Michigan State Open on Nov. 8.
The Scots return home on Nov. 16 to host VMI in their first dual contest of the 2025-26 season.
On Nov. 23, Edinboro travels to the Keystone Classic in Philadelphia. As the calendar rolls to December, the Scots will go to Las Vegas for the Cliff Keen Invitational Dec. 5 & 6.
Dual action resumes on Dec. 11 with a pair of duals in Kent, Ohio as the Scots take on MAC foe Kent State as well as Bellarmine. Edinboro hosts Gannon on Dec. 19 before traveling to take on Pitt on Dec. 20.
The new year opens with the Bobby Kauffman Open inside McComb Fieldhouse on Jan. 4. The Scots go to Edwardsville, Ill. for a tri-match with SIUE and Little Rock on Jan. 10.
The road swing continues with trips to George Mason on Jan. 23 and Rider on Jan. 24.
The Scots return to McComb on Jan 31 for the Edinboro Open. Edinboro won't leave the confines of McComb until the MAC Championships with matches against Clarion (Feb. 5), Lock Haven (Feb. 12), Bloomsburg and Mercyhurst (Feb. 19) and the Boro Brawl Last Chance (Feb. 22).
"To make this season special, we need everyone's help to pack McComb Field House," Hill continued. "Our promotional schedule will feature new elements designed to give our athletes and fans a true Big Time Wrestling Experience. Our wrestlers are training hard, and we want the community to feel that energy."
The MAC Championships will be hosted in Buffalo this year and take place on March 6 & 7. The NCAA Championships are March 19, 20, and 21 in Cleveland, Ohio.
