Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swim team Scored a 130-85 victory over visiting Ashland Friday night.
The Scots opened the night finishing first in the 400-medley relay with
Katelyn Reott,
Alexis Schrecongost,
Uxue Navarro and
Lillian Dilts finishing in 4:00.55.
Kirsten Johnson,
Emma Beggs,
Baila Bugara and
Regan Repak also scored finishing in third with a time of 4:17.98.
Peyton Koballa earned first-place in the 1,000-freestyle touching the wall in 11:30.85. Cara Della Toffalo swam an 11:49.19 to place third. In the 200-freestyle the Scot duo of
Eliza Miller and Navarro took the top two spots with times of 1:59.19 and 1:59.59 respectively.
In the 50-freestyle,
Izzy Hanek swam a 24.64 to take first. Dilts was second in a time of 25.14. Schrecongost was the top finisher in the 200-medley with a time of 2:17.37. Beggs was right behind her at 2:17.89 to take second.
Navarro scored first place points in the 200-butterfly posting a time of 2:12.40. Bugara finished in 2:26.21 to place third. Reott added a first-place swim in the 100-free with a time of 53.05.
Anna Riedel brought home third place with a time of 57.18. Hanek scored another first-place swim in the 200-backstroke with a time of 2:10.44.
In the 500-freestyle, Schrecongost swam a 5:21.91 to place first. Koballa was next to touch the wall in a time of 5:38.18. Beggs posted a time of 2:31.82 to win the 200-breaststroke.
The Scots are back in action on November 1 when they travel to Kutztown for a PSAC matchup. The meet is scheduled for 4 p.m.
