Greensburg, Pa. – The Edinboro women's soccer team earned a spot in the PSAC postseason with a 1-0 victory over Seton Hill Saturday afternoon.
With 13:21 left in the first half,
Jada Cole threw a cross into the box. The Seton Hill keeper jumped to play a punch, but the ball came off the crossbar and was collected by
Noelle Dubnicka who finished into the upper right corner to give the Scots a 1-0 lead.
The Scots would take that 1-0 lead into the break and the defense would make it hold up with four second half saves from
Brianna Garey to keep the clean sheet.
Cole added three shots to her assist on the goal. Dubnicka and
Emily Vogel each added a shot on goal for the Scots. Garey made six saves to earn the shutout.
The Scots return to action next Saturday when they host Clarion at 1 p.m. inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
