Indiana, Pa. – The Edinboro volleyball team will play a key of PSAC West contests on the road at IUP and UPJ this weekend.
 
The Games
On Friday, the Scots travel to IUP for a 6 p.m. contest against the Crimson Hawks. The match will be broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and live stats will be available. Edinboro follows that with a 1 p.m. match at Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday. That match will also be broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and have live stats.
 
Last Time Out
The Scots dropped a 3-1 decision to Gannon on Friday night. Reilly Parent tallied 17 kills, eight digs and two service aces. Makayla Neelands tallied 13 kills and 10 digs while Emma Hiott notched 12 kills and a pair of blocks. Faith Schneider led the team with 11 digs.
 
Playoff Picture
The Scots are currently tied for third place in the PSAC West at 4-4 in league play. The top four teams qualify for the conference postseason tournament. IUP is 5-3 and second in the West while Edinboro, UPJ and Clarion are all 4-4 and Seton Hill is one game back of that group at 3-5.
 
IUP
The Crimson Hawks are 16-5 overall and 5-3 in the PSAC West after defeating UPJ 3-0 last Friday. Delaney Concannon led the offense with 15 kills while Jessica Neiman added 13. Ellie Rauch triggered the offense with 33 assists against the Mountain Cats.
 
UPJ
The Mountain Cats are 13-7 overall and 4-4 in the West after a 3-0 loss to IUP on Friday. Caroline Knight was the UPJ leader in kills with 12. Abby Berry dished out 18 assists and Jessica Krug and Berry each notched 10 digs. The Mountain Cats take on Gannon on Friday.
