Youngstown, Ohio – The Edinboro swim teams put up two more school records finishing strong at the Youngstown State Invitational Saturday.
Katelyn Reott was the first record setter on the day breaking both the pool and Edinboro record in the 100-freestyle with a swim of 51.19.
Andrew Ketler put up his second school-record of the weekend with a time of 1:50.11 in the 200-butterfly. Both of the record-setting swims were NCAA B-cuts.
Izzy Hanek touched the 2:07.65 to place fourth in the 200-backstroke. In the women's 1,650-freestyle,
Peyton Koballa finished sixth in a time of 18:46.16.
Uxue Navarro posted a 2:06.96 to place fourth in the 200-butterfly.
Dilts added a fifth-place swim in the 100-freestyle in 52.86. A trio of Scots swam the A-final in the 200-breaststroke.
Emma Beggs posted a 2:23.30 placing fourth.
Alexis Schrecongost was seventh in 2:27.88 and
Regan Repak was eighth in 2:33.74.
The 400-freestyle relay team of Schrecongost, Dilts, Hanek and Reott took second with a swim of 3:29.01.
Ketler also swam the 50-butterfly in 22.35 to place second. Three Scots swam the A-final with Brian Bell leading the way with a time of 2:01.47 to finish fourth. Right behind him in fifth was
Tyler Hill with a time of 2:03.93.
Troy Hickman finished in 2:10.76 to place seventh.
Braden Hain and
Rafael De Sousa reached the 100-freestyle A-final. Hain was fifth in 46.52 and De Sousa was seventh in 47.61.
Tyler Hill turned in a time of 17:08 to place eighth in the 1,650-freestyle.
Christian Connell finished third in the 200-breaststroke with a time of 2:05.53.
Caleb Ludlow added a sixth-place swim in a time of 2:11.28.
Cade Tysinger swam a 1:57.80 in the 200-butterfly to take seventh.
The men's 400-freestyle relay team of De Sousa, Ketler, Innis and Hain closed out the meet with a 3:09.04 time good for third.
The Scots will return to action on January 9 when they travel to Shippensburg for a PSAC dual meet.
