Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to visiting IUP Wednesday night inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
 
In the first half, Emily Lattea broke the scoreless tie in the 30^th minute assisted by Elle Smith. The Crimson Hawks would carry that lead into the break.
 
Lettea added an insurance tally in the 70^th minute assisted again by Smith to set the final.
 
Emily Vogel and Haley Stadler each recorded a pair of shots on goal. Madison Felton and Jada Cole each tallied a shot on goal. Brianna Garey made six saves in net.
 
The Scots host Clarion on Saturday in the first round of the PSAC postseason. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
