Lock Haven, Pa. – The Edinboro women's cross country team placed third at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships and earned a spot at the NCAA Championship Meet.
The Scots top finisher was
Katie Slimon placing 14
th in a time of 21:57.3.
Madeline Hammond was next across the line with a time of 22:01.2 to take 18
th.
Eliza Miller also earned All-Region honors placing 19
th in a time of 22:02.2.
Kadi Bauer was next across the line in 22:30.1 to take 37
th.
Annika von Ahnen rounded out the scoring times placing 40
th in 22:39.8.
Katie Shope was 48
th in a time of 22:48.5 and
Jocelyn Wilson posted a time of 22:59.6 placing 62
nd.
Slimon earned first-team all-region for her performance while Hammond and Miller were each second-team.
Edinboro returns to action on November 22 when they travel to Whitewater, Wisconsin for the NCAA Championship Meet.
