Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swim team posted a 165-70 victory over Roberts Wesleyan Saturday afternoon.
The Scots came out off the blocks hot taking the top three spots in the 200-medley relay.
Izzy Hanek,
Alexis Schrecongost,
Lillian Dilts and
Katelyn Reott finished in 1:50.55 to claim the top spot,
Anna Mehlenbacher,
Emma Beggs,
Baila Bugara and
Anna Riedel swam a 1:57.4 and
Kirsten Johnson,
Kaileigh Smith, Cara Della Toffalo and
Regan Repak touched the wall in 1:59.41.
In the 1,000-freestyle,
Uxue Navarro was first in a time of 11:13.49. Bugara posted a 11:45.98 to place second. Hanek finished first in the 200-freestyle with a time of 2:04.96. Della Toffalo checked in at 2:06.03 to place second.
Mehlenbacher paced the Scots in the 100-backstroke finishing in first with a 1:03.67. Johnson was third in the 100-back with a time of 1:07.53. The Scots dominance continued in the 100-breaststroke with Reott, Smith and Repak going one through three in times of 1:10.28, 1:11.68 and 1:12.68 respectively.
In the 200-butterfly, Beggs claimed the top spot with a time of 2:26.06. Dilts was second in a time of 2:26.77. The 50-freestyle saw Schrecongost take the top spot in a time of 25.35 with Riedel right behind her in a time of 25.86.Navarro brought home first-place points in the 100-freestyle with a time of 56.51.
In the 200-backstroke, Beggs claimed first place with a swim of 2:24.46. Repak won the 200-breaststroke in a time of 2:40.04. Bugara posted a time of 5:40.85 to win the 500-freestyle. Schrecongost placed first in the 100-butterfly with a time of 1:02.54.
Navarro claimed another first-place swim in the 200-IM touching the wall in 2:21.85. Schrecongost, Hanek, Dilts and Reott closed out the meet winning the 400-freestyle relay in a time of 3:41.32.
The Scots will close out the fall semester at Youngstown State November 20-22.
