Meadville, Pa. – In the first competition for the Fighting Scots since launching the program the Edinboro women's golf team had a strong first competition at the Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational hosted by Allegheny College.
 
Cecilia Carayol was the top finisher for he Scots placing tied for 22^nd with a final score of 174 shooting an 85 on Sunday and an 89 in the final round on Monday.
 
Haley Sliker posted a 98 on Sunday and came back with a 90 on Monday highlighted by a birdie on the fifth hole in the final round posting a final score of 188 to place 34th.
 
Jocelyn Williams checked in at 45^th with a final score of 230 shooting a 118 on Sunday and 112 on Monday.
 
The Scots return to action on Saturday when they travel to Clarion for the Golden Eagle Fall Invitational.
