The Edinboro Women's Golf program completed its first year of competition in a season defined by development, resilience, and competitive performances throughout the region. Competing against strong fields across the PSAC and surrounding tournaments, the Fighting Scots showed steady improvement while gaining valuable experience on a variety of challenging courses.
Throughout the season, the team demonstrated determination and commitment to improvement, highlighted by consistent scoring and several standout individual rounds.
"Our inaugural season was about building a foundation, creating a culture, and showing what Edinboro Women's Golf can become," said head coach
Jay Willow. "I'm incredibly proud of the effort, growth, and resilience our players showed throughout the year. This group helped to lay the groundwork for the future of the program, and we're excited about where we're headed."
The year also reflected the potential of the program under a culture centered on hard work, team chemistry, and player development. From fall events through the spring season, the Fighting Scots embraced the challenge of collegiate golf and continued laying the foundation for future success.
With returning talent, skilled incoming players, and excitement surrounding the future of the program, Edinboro Women's Golf is poised for growth in the seasons ahead.
