Meadville, Pa. – The Edinboro women's swim team scored a 103-67 victory over host Allegheny Friday night in their final dual meet ahead of the PSAC Championships.
The Edinboro 200-medley relay team of
Katelyn Reott, Alexis Schrcongost,
Lillian Dilts an
Izzy Hanek started the meet with a first-place swim of 1:49.79.
Eliza Miller followed that up with a time of 18:25.45 in the 1,650-freestyle to place first. Miller scored another first-place finish in the 100-freestyle with a time of 55.35.
Hanek was first to touch the wall in the 200-freestyle with a time of 2:05.99. Dilts posted a 25.30 in the 50-freestyle to claim the top spot.
Uxue Navarro took home first-place honors in the 400-IM in a time of 4:50.31. Navarro finished the 100-backstroke in 1:03.46 for her second first-place finish of the meet.
Schrecongost was first in the 100-butterfly finishing in 1:01.45.
Naomi Polito swam a 5:39.76 to win the 500-freestyle. In the 100-breaststroke,
Kaileigh Smith claimed first with a time of 1:11.98. Reott, Miller, Dilts and Hanek closed out the meet with a first-place 200-freestyle relay time of 1:39.12.
The Scots are back in action on February 18 on the first day of the PSAC Championships in York, Pa.
