York, Pa. – The Edinboro swim teams had a solid showing with the women's 200-freestyle relay scoring a PSAC Championship to highlight the second day of the Championship Meet in York.
The Edinboro quartet of
Katelyn Reott,
Eliza Miller,
Lillian Dilts and
Izzy Hanek swam a 1:33.97 to win the PSAC Championship in the 200-freestyle relay.
Miller earned All-PSAC honors with a second-place swim in the 200-freestyle touching the wall in 1:51.95. A trio of Scots reached the finals in the 100-butterfly led by a 12
th place finish from
Uxue Navarro in a time of 58.33. Dilts turned in a 58.51 to take 17
th and
Alexis Schrecongost finished in 58.88 to place 20
th.
Emma Beggs reached the c-final of the 400-IM placing 22
nd in 4:44.24. In the 400-medley relay, Reott led off with a 26.45 swim in the 100-backstroke breaking the school record and making an NCAA B-cut time. Along with Schrecongost, Navarro and Dilts the Scots took third in the relay with a time of 3:52.36.
On the men's side, the 200-freestyle relay team of
Andrew Ketler,
Cade Tysinger,
Caleb Ludlow and
Elijah Innis placed seventh in a time of 1:26.46.
Ketler was ninth in the 100-butterfly with a time of 49.83.
Rafael De Sousa picked up points for the Scots in the 200-freestyle finishing in 1:43.23 to take 14
th.
The 400-medley relay team of
Braden Hain,
Christian Connell, Ketler and De Sousa placed sixth in a time of 3:26.77.
The Fighting Scot women are currently fifth with 316 points and the men are eighth with 91 points.
Action resumes at the Graham Aquatic Center at 10 a.m. on Friday.
