York, Pa. – Two more Edinboro school records fell on Friday's third day of the PSAC Swim Championships at Graham Aquatic Center.
The Scot's women 200-medley relay was the first to set the school with
Katelyn Reott,
Alexis Schrecongost,
Lillian Dilts and
Izzy Hanek posting a time of 1:43.62 and placing second.
Reott wasn't done setting records posting a 55.70 in the 100-backstroke placing second with an NCAA-B cut swim. Hanek also swam in the 100-backstroke B-final finishing 10
th in 58.94.
In the 500-freestyle,
Eliza Miller finished third touching the wall in 5:00.26. The Fighting Scots had three swimmers reach the 100-breaststroke finals led by Schrecongost in 12
th with a time of 1:06.64.
Emma Beggs was 15
th in 1:07.45 and
Regan Repak swam a 1:08.82 to place 24
th.
Uxue Navarro swam a 2:10.32 in the 200-butterfly to take ninth.
Baila Bugara added a 22
nd place finish with a time of 2:17.68.
The men's 200-medley relay team of
Braden Hain,
Jake Hillibush,
Andrew Ketler and
Rafael De Sousa were sixth in a time of 1:33.42.
Christian Connell swam a 58.64 in the 100-breaststroke to take 16
th. Ketler rounded out the men's finals swim with a fifth-place finish in the 200-butterfly in a time of 1:52.86.
After three days of action the Edinboro women are fifth with 495 points while the men are eighth with 132. The PSAC Championships wrap up on Saturday.
