LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's soccer team was selected fourth in the PSAC West Preseason Coaches' Poll announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

The Scots finished last season, 8-9-1 overall and 6-7-1 in PSAC West play earning a spot in the PSAC postseason. 

Edinboro returns PSAC West Freshman of the Year Jada Cole and her 22 points on 10 goals and two assists. Elise Cacchione and Grace Madison each finished with three points a season ago. On the backend, second-team all-conference player Sonoka Shiokawa. Keeper Brianna Garey started all 18 games in net posting an .815 save percentage and a 1.41 goals against average. 

The Scots open play on August 27 hosting Mercy University inside Sox Harrison Stadium. Conference play opens on August 29 against IUP.
