EDINBORO, Pa. -- The Edinboro football team is back in action on Saturday with a trip to Clarion at noon.

THE GAME
Kickoff is slated for noon. The game will be streamed on the PSAC Digital Netowrk and Clarion Athletics will provide live stats.

LAST TIME OUT EDINBORO
The Scots dropped a 44-24 decision to visiting West Chester last Saturday. Jeremiah Neeley led the offense with three catches for 90 yards and a touchdown. Nico Marchitelli was 10-of16 for116 yards. Jordan Theodore carried 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. Parker Hoff led the defense with 12 total tackles.

LAST TIME OUT CLARION
The Golden Eagles are also 2-1 and are coming off a 59-13 win over Lackawanna last Saturday. Jase Ferguson threw for 298 yards and two touchdowns. Tsirell Curry was his top target cathcing five passes for 143 yards. Clarion had six rushers combine for 200 yards led by 59 from Tyreek Hall. Tarell Allen-Tooks led the defense with eight stops.

HONOR ROLL
Webster added his name to the PSAC West Player of the Week list for his performance against Bloomsburg in Week 2. He made seven total tackles, four solo, three for a loss and forced a fumble that set up the only touchdown of the game.
Ty Reali was named the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week in Week 1. He led the Scots with 12 total tackles and seven of them being solo. He also stopped an Ohio Dominican drive with an interception at the Scot 3-yard line. The pick set up the Scots 13-play, 95-yard game-tying touchdown drive.

KEEPING IT CLEAN
The Scots are third in Division II with just 95 total penalty yards. Their 31.7 yards per game of penalties ranks fifth in nation and atop the PSAC. Edinboro has also protected the football with just three turnovers on the season ranking 28th in Division II.

DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Edinboro defense has been tough against the pass ranking 28th in the country and third in the PSAC with opponents averaging just 158.7 yards per game through the air. The Scot defense ranks 17th nationally in pass efficieny defense. The Edinboro defense ranks 35th in total defense allowing an average of 303.3 yards the sixth best mark in the conference.

GOING FOR IT
Edinboro has gone for it on fourth down eight times in the first three games of the season. They have converted on five of those attempts. They rank sixth in the PSAC and 51st in the nation in fourth-down conversion rate.

DEEP THREAT
Jeremiah Neeley has made multiple long catches this season with touchdowns of 54 yards and an 80-yarder at the end of the game against West Chester. The catch against the Golden Rams was the first catch of over 80 yards by a Scots since TaNauz Gregory made an 82 yard catch against Seton Hill on Oct. 28, 2017.
