Played in and started 16 matches, finishing as second-leading scorer with 33 goals and 6 assists for 39 points … took team-leading 83 shots … third on team with 5 free position goals on 11 shots … had 21 draw controls, good for third on the team … had 6 goals against Indiana(Pa.) … scored 4 goals and had 3 assists in win over Tiffin, and also had 4 goals and 2 assists vs. Erskine … added 4 goals against Shippensburg and Indiana(Pa.)

Finished as Edinboro’s leading scorer with 41 points and 34 goals and 7 assists … ranked first in goals and second in assists … started all 14 matches … also led the Fighting Scots with 5 free position goals … had team-high 80 shots and was third in shooting percentage at .425 … scored at least one goal in 13 of 14 matches … had 5 goals and 3 assists against Erskine and 5 goals and an assist vs. Waynesburg … accounted for Edinboro’s first-ever goal 16 seconds into the match at Lees-McRae.

HIGH SCHOOL
A two-year starter for head coach Joya Mitchell at Hudson High School … as a senior helped the Explorers to 19-2 record and a berth in the Ohio state semifinals … earned All-District honors as a senior after totaling 25 goals and 7 assists … was named Offensive MVP as a senior and was an all-district selection.

PERSONAL
Born August 14, 1990 … Nursing major … daughter of Mary and Rick Mackessy … has one brother and one sister … brother Ricky played lacrosse at Denison University and sister Carly is a member of the field hockey team at Ohio State.
