Played for head coach Jeff Anastasia at Olean High School … three-year letterwinner and two-year starter for the Huskies, who posted a 74-5 record during that period … averaged 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists as a senior, leading Huskies to 27-3 record … was a first team Class B all-state selection and Player of the Year in Western New York Class B … was also named the Player of the Year in the conference and in the Big 30 … named the MVP of the Class B state championship game … as a junior averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds for a team which finished 25-2 … was an honorable mention all-conference pick … team went 22-1 his sophomore year, as he averaged 5 points and 4 rebounds.
