HIGH SCHOOL
Played for head coach Doug Chuzie at Villa Maria Academy … was a starter for the Victors as a senior, earning second team All-Region honors … in her four years at Villa, the varsity team had a record of 88-19, winning two District 10 Championships and finishing as District 10 runner-up twice … averaged 4.5 ppg. and 4.3 rpg. her last two years, while playing on a team that had nine players in all continue their basketball careers in college … as a senior in 2014-15, the Victors had a 20-6 record, winning the District 10 Class AAA championship before losing to Beaver, 34-33, in first round of the PIAA Playoffs … Villa was the Region 6 co-champion … the 2013-14 team finished with a 21-4 record, losing to Hickory in the District 10 championship, and reaching the second round of the PIAA Class AAA playoffs … Victors were 22-4 in 2012-13, once again reaching the District 10 championship game before losing to Franklin.

Born October 5, 1996 … HPE – Human Performance major with a 3.36 GPA … daughter of Debbie and Michael Thompson … has two sisters (Maria and Ann) and one brother (Michael) … sister Maria (DiVecchio) Gartrell played for the women’s basketball team and is one of the all-time leading scorers … an Edinboro and PSAC Scholar-Athlete.
