Played for her mother Kesha Cook at Mardela High School, helping the Warriors to the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association 1A state semifinals as a junior and senior … Mardela lost to Southern Garrett 53-52 in the 2014 state semifinals to end the year at 24-2 … fell to Dunbar 55-43 in 2013 state semis … led Warriors to three 1A regional championships and three Bayside Conference titles … finished career with 1,349 points and 853 rebounds, averaging 18.4 points for her career … was a two-time first team All-Bayside Conference choice and earned second team honors twice …   also competed in track & field.
