2011-12
Appeared in 23 games during the season averaging 1.3 ppg. and 1.1 rpg. in 5.2 minutes per game … made 13 of 33 field goals and four of seven free throws … took advantage of opportunities for minutes against Mansfield and Shepherd, scoring a career-high eight points in the first game of the year ... swatted career-high three shots while playing 14 minutes against Shepherd.

Attended Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy and played at nearby Strong Vincent High School for head coach Lance Brown, where she started two seasons in basketball and also a four-year starter in soccer and excelled in track & field … earned ten letters in all … along with twin sister Morgyn led the Colonels to an 18-5 finish a year ago, bowing out to eventual PIAA Class AAAA state champion Mount Lebanon in the PIAA playoffs … Colonels won first-ever District 10 championship and first-ever PIAA playoff game, a 42-38 victory over Bethel Park at Edinboro’s McComb Fieldhouse … averaged 6.0 ppg. and was second on the team in rebounding at 5.4 per game to earn second team All-Region 7 accolades … shot 49 percent from the floor but was just 5 of 14 from the line … had 26 blocked shots and 26 steals … averaged 3.7 ppg. and 3.7 rpg. as a junior as the Colonels finished with a 17-7 record … helped soccer team to first-ever appearance in District 10 playoffs.

Born January 2, 1992 … full name is Meghyn LaShail Patterson … Psychology major … daughter of Tiffany Patterson and Wayne Patterson … father is assistant director of human resources and labor relations at Edinboro … has two sisters, with twin sister Morgyn also on the Fighting Scots.
