A standout at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School where she played for head coach Don Eckerle ... concluded her career with 1,414 points and 723 rebounds ... averaged 12.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists as a senior, helping Chargers finish 26-3 ... Chargers won two WPIAL championships and two section titles ... was an All-Section 2 selection all four years and named to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fab Five ... Chargers were 20-7 junior year ... was named Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Athlete of the Year as a senior ... also a standout in volleyball, earning All-State honors twice, and started two years in softball.
