HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year starter for head coach Karen Irons at Bellevue High School … helped the Redmen to an 18-5 record as a senior … a three-time all-conference selection, earning first team accolades as a junior and senior and second team as a sophomore … was a first team all-region/district choice as a senior, along with earning second team honors as a junior and honorable mention as a sophomore … team MVP as a senior … also competed in basketball and track … helped the Bellevue girls basketball team finish with a 24-2 record as a senior, winning conference, sectional and district championships … Redmen were the regional runner-up and reached the Elite Eight both in 2014 and 2015 … was an honorable mention all-conference selection and paced the NOL in blocked shots … in track, was the NOL high jump champion as a sophomore to earn first team all-conference honors, and was a second team in the 4x200 medley relay, and honorable mention in the 4x400 medley relay … district high jump champion and took sixth place at regional championships … also finished fourth at conference championships in the 400-meter dash.
