Final Results

MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Edinboro men's swimming team suffered a narrow 132-128 loss to Allegheny on Saturday afternoon.  It is a loss head coach Chris Rhodes can live with, since his Fighting Scots would have won if the diving competition, which Edinboro does not sponsor, did not count in the scoring.  The loss drops the Fighting Scots to 0-4.

Tony Romanini continued his outstanding season with a pair of wins, capturing the 100-yard backstroke (52.28) and 200-yard backstroke (1:57.75).

Jared Malecki won twice, as well, touching first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.87) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.65).  Ryan Sestak, Joshua Beabout and Frankie Thatcher were double winners thanks to a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay, along with Darren Suroviec.  Sestak won the 100-yard freestyle (48.58), Beabout the 500-yard freestyle (4:51.84) and Thatcher the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.50).
