EDINBORO (Jan. 26, 2013) – Tony Romanini was a tri-winner for Edinboro and Joshua Beabout collected a pair of victories, but the Fighting Scots (2-6) came up just short at home against Clarion (4-1) 130-126 on Senior Day in McComb Fieldhouse.

Romanini scored victories in the 200 yard butterfly (1:58.53), 200 yard backstroke (2:04.29), and 200 yard individual medley (1:59.66).  Tony also assisted the 200 yard medley relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 1:36.35. 

Beabout brought home victories in the 1000 yard freestyle (9:59.08), and the 500 yard freestyle (4:49.80). 

Jared Malecki was also a part of the 200 yard medley relay team with Romanini, and collected a second-place finish in the 200 yard backstroke (2:15.65) and the 50 yard freestyle (22.26), just in front of teammate Seth Dippold (22.40).  Dippold added second-place finishes in the 200 yard backstroke (2:05.76) and 100 yard backstroke (56.51).  Dippold finished just behind Darren Suroviec in the 100 back, as Suroviec won the event with a time of 54.65, and added a second-place finish in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 53.40.
