THREE STRAIGHT NCAA APPEARANCES
Kagiavas, Gary
Edinboro qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament for the third consecutive season. Before this latest run, the Fighting Scots had never made the NCAA Tournament. In the past three years, they are a combined 40-15-5. The 40 wins are the most in school history in a three-year span.

Gary Kagiavas is Edinboro's only coach after Edinboro started the program in 1996. He has built the program into one of the best in the region in recent years.  Kagiavas' teams have now made the PSAC Tournament in the last four seasons and eight of the last 13 seasons. Kagiavas has made three final fours, two as a player and once as an assistant coach at Gannon.  However, he is looking for his first NCAA Tournament win at Edinboro.

A LOOK AT SHIPPENSBURG – THIRD TIME'S A CHARM
Edinboro's appearance in the PSAC Tournament ended at the hands of Shippensburg, as the two teams battled to a scoreless tie through 110 minutes before the Lady Raiders prevailed 4-3 in penalty kicks. Before that game, Edinboro had won the previous four matches with Shippensburg, including a 3-0 victory earlier this season on September 7.

Shippensburg has climbed to No. 24 in the latest NSCAA Division II rankings after reaching the PSAC semifinals.  The Lady Raiders are making their first NCAA Tournament appearance. They also battled California(Pa.) through two overtimes to a scoreless tie, this time falling on penalty kicks 3-2. In fact, Shippensburg's last three matches have gone into double overtime. Junior forward Brooke Clippinger's leads the Lady Raiders in goals (4) and points (10). Clippinger had three goals over the last six games of the regular season. Junior forward Kate Zech leads the team with four assists, and is also tied for second on the team with freshman forward Casey Rightmyer in goals with three. In goal, Shelbie Rackley has yet to miss a minute of action this year, putting together a 0.789 goals against average that is third-best in the PSAC and has a conference-leading and school record ten shutouts. Rackley is helped on the defensive end by second team All-PSAC performer senior defender Kylee Bricker. Bricker has also added one goal and two assists this season.

FIRST TEAM ALL-PSAC
Clements, Lauralee
Three Fighting Scots were honored as first-team All-PSAC performers recently. Lauralee Clements, Becca Costello, and Liz Debo all received the prestigious honor.

Clements received All-PSAC honors for the first time in her career. She was one of four defenders selected to the first team, and spearheaded an Edinboro defense that has limited opponents to just 18 goals while posting nine shutouts. In addition, she has contributed three goals and three assists for nine points.

This marks the second time Costello has received first-team honors and third time she has earned all-conference honors. A year ago she was named to the third team and in 2011 she was a first team selection. A junior midfielder, she stands second on the team in scoring with seven goals and four assists for 18 points.  The four assists are tied for the team lead. Costello has also started all 19 matches.  She is tied for 12th in career assists with 11.

Debo repeats as a first team selection. The junior forward leads Edinboro in goals (11) and points (24), ranking second in the PSAC in goals, tied for third in total points, and fifth in points per game.  She contributed four game-winning goals and has started all 19 matches.  The 11 goals is tied for the eighth most in a single-season at Edinboro, and she also owns the third-highest season total with 14 a year ago.  Debo has now climbed into fourth place in career goals with 32, and also ranks seventh in career points (70).

HARTMANN ASSISTING
Junior forward Jansen Hartmann is tied for the team lead in assists with four. In the first game of the season against Shippensburg, she contributed two assists in the 3-0 rout. She is now tied for 18th with nine career assists. Hartmann has also added three goals on the season and is one of only six Fighting Scots to start every game this season.

Overly, Allyson
VICTORIOUS OVERLY
Over the last three seasons, Edinboro is undefeated when junior midfielder Allyson Overly scores a goal. The Fighting Scots record is 6-0-1 when Overly scores in a game in her career and 3-0-1 this season. She also has already netted a goal this season against Shippensburg during the Fighting Scots 3-0 win early this season.

OVERDUE DUO
The Fighting Scots have been shutout in the last two matches resulting in zero points from either Liz Debo or Becca Costello. Neither player has had a stretch this season in which they have gone more than two games without recording a point.

When both Costello and Debo record a point in the same game, Edinboro is 6-0-0. The Scots record when either manages to record a point this season is nearly flawless, posting an 11-1-0 overall record.

CONTRIBUTOR COSTELLO
Costello, Becca
Junior midfielder Becca Costello is tied for the team lead in assists with four on the season. Those four assists give her 11 in her career, placing her in a tie for 12th all-time with Elies Falatach, Kara Ciacchini, and Jamie Tekotte (now assistant coach Jamie Sallie).  She needs to record two more assists to reach the top ten.

Costello also currently has 35 career points, the 13th-most in school history. She trails Alyssa Murosky by six points.

RECORD-BREAKER KELLY
Junior goalkeeper Meghan Kelly has been on a torrid pace when it comes to breaking school records. She broke one season record and tied another this year. Her seven shutouts were the most in a single-season and her 12 victories tied the record which Kelly previously set in 2012. Her 0.90 goals against average also tied the number she had last year, which places her third, and her 1,695 minutes were the second most all-time, trailing only the mark she put up last season (1,795).

Kelly, Meghan
Kelly now holds multiple career records. She has shattered the previous wins record held by Kate Stukbauer as Kelly now has 31 career victories, six more than Stukbauer. Kelly's 17 career shutouts ties Stukbauer for most all-time, her 227 career saves has her in third-place all-time, and if Kelly plays all 90 minutes against Shippensburg, she will become the new record holder for minutes played in Edinboro history.

Kelly has been a thorn in Shippensburg's side, as she has never allowed a goal in four contests against them.
Kelly is also an outstanding student who was named to the Capital One Academic All-America District 2 Team recently. She is an Early Childhood/Special Education major with a 4.00 GPA.

THE ROAD AHEAD
The winner of this game will play on Sunday, November 17 at 2 p.m. against the host and second seed in the Atlantic Region, Slippery Rock. The Rock is 13-3-3 this year and was eliminated from the first round of the PSAC Tournament by Gannon 1-0. Slippery Rock defeated Edinboro 2-1 earlier this year in Slippery Rock and played Shippensburg to a 1-1 tie on the road.
