The Edinboro volleyball team returns to action this Friday, September 13
th and Saturday the 14
th at the University of Charleston (WV) Invitational. The Fighting Scots sport a 3-1 record entering the event after participating in the Tony Banner Invitational at Clarion University last weekend.
Edinboro begins the tournament taking on Alderson-Broaddus at 11:30 a.m. on Friday and West Liberty at 4:30 p.m. later that day. The Fighting Scots will look to avenge their lone loss of the season as they take on Ohio Dominican at 9 a.m. on Saturday, before facing host University of Charleston (WV) at 2 p.m.
Alderson-Broaddus and West Liberty each enter the Invitational with 1-3 records. Ohio Dominican comes in at 3-1 on the year, while Charleston (WV) holds a perfect 4-0 mark.
In the Tony Banner Invitational, the Fighting Scots opened their season with a 3-0 sweep over Urbana. Later that day, Edinboro fell to Ohio Dominican 1-3, but went on to win their final two matches over Concord and Goldey-Beacom by scores of 3-1 and 3-0 on Saturday.

Katie Felix earned All-Tournament recognition for her play in the Tony Banner Invitational. She recorded 104 assists in the four games and recorded a triple-double in the win over Concord. The Fighting Scots also have three players with 30 or more kills on the season, led by sophomore middle hitter
