Tabitha Meeks prior to the match. Edinboro falls to 20-11 on the season and 11-9 in PSAC play, while the Griffins boosted their record to 27-4 and 16-4, respectively.
With the loss, the Fighting Scots are officially eliminated from PSAC postseason contention. Edinboro last qualified for the PSAC Championship Tournament during the 2011 season.
Tabitha Meeks led Edinboro with 13 kills. Seton Hill came into the match at fifth in the initial NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Rankings, while the Fighting Scots entered at seventh. Today's match closes Edinboro's home portion of its 2014 schedule.
The Fighting Scots used 14 kills buoyed by six kills from Meeks to earn a 25-22 win in the first game and gain a 1-0 advantage over the Griffins. However, Seton Hill responded with three consecutive set victories thanks to a .349 hitting percentage in the final three games to earn the conference win.
Meeks paced Edinboro with 13 kills to go along with a .312 hitting percentage and 11 digs. Marett tallied a game-high 28 digs for the Fighting Scots.

Challen Litwiler posted three service aces.
Corrine Gahagen recorded a game-high 16 kills and four block assists, while Courtney Field distributed a game-high 38 assists and led the Griffins with 19 digs in the win. Shelby Kyllo added nine kills and four block assists for Seton Hill.
Edinboro returns to action next Friday, November 7, traveling to Indiana (Pa.) for a PSAC Western Division contest. The match against the Crimson Hawks is slated to begin at 7 p.m. in Indiana, Pa.
