EDINBORO QUICK THREE
• In last Saturday's game at Gannon with 5:50 remaining in the game, Laurel Lindsay became just the 29th player in Edinboro school history to reach 1,000 career points when she made the first of two free throws. Lindsay is just the 89th active player in Division II to achieve that feat. The graduate student guard/forward also joins a select group of six Fighting Scots that have reached 1,000 or more career points and 400 or more career assists. The South Park, Pa. native is now well within sight of becoming the highest-scoring player in school history with 500 assists. Lindsay needs just 21 points and 61 assists to reach those goals.

Aignee' Freeland has struggled in Edinboro's four losses this season. The junior forward/center has shot 13-for-36 (36.1 percent) in losses while averaging 7.5 ppg. and 5.25 rpg. In wins, Freeland shoots 66-for-121 (54.5 percent) and averages 13.7 ppg. and 8.6 rpg. Freeland is nearing 1,000 career points. The York, Pa. native is 134 points away from reaching that mark.

Lauren Hippo has scored in double-figures in eight straight games. She is averaging 17.1 ppg. during this stretch and tied a season-high leading Edinboro with 21 points in the Scots last game at Gannon. The junior guard/forward is shooting 27-for-48 (56.25 percent) on 3-pointers during the eight-game stretch. Prior to that she had suffered through a 0-for-10 slump on 3-pointers and 6-for-34 from the field. Since the start of the 2013-14 season the Fighting Scots have posted a 23-2 record when Hippo scores in double figures. They are 15-8 when she does not reach that mark.

SCOUTING INDIANA (PA)
• Indiana (Pa.) began the season winning its first 13 games but lost its last outing 73-68 to California (Pa.) on the road in overtime.

• The Crimson Hawks have a taste of Erie, Pa. flavor on the team. Their star player Lindsay Stamp is a native of Erie, Pa., attended Mercyhurst Prep, and then originally went to Mercyhurst before transferring to IUP. Stamp played in 20 games with the Lakers off the bench, finishing second on the team with 10.0 ppg. She was a first-team All-PSAC West selection last year and leads the Crimson Hawks with 20.5 ppg. and 7.8 rpg. this season. Zhané Brooks is the other native of Erie, Pa. on the team. The junior forward attended Villa Maria academy and is averaging 6.0 ppg. and 5.9 rpg. off the bench this season.

• Indiana (Pa.) ranks in the top twenty in the nation in scoring offense (78.6 ppg.) and scoring defense (56.5 ppg.) in addition to ranking in the top two in the PSAC in each of those statistics. The Crimson Hawks are 19th in the nation in scoring offense and have score 70 or more points in 10 of their 13 games. IUP is 15th in scoring defense in the nation and first in the conference, giving up over 60 points four times and 70 points just once.
