KUTZTOWN, Pa. (October 16, 2015) – The Edinboro University volleyball entered day one of the PSAC Crossover, hosted by Kutztown, with an opportunity to match the best start in school history since the 1994 squad began the year 20-2. The Fighting Scots seized the opportunity and bested the start by improving to 21-2 overall and 10-1 in the PSAC.
Edinboro beat Cheyney in the early game, 3-0, before also defeating Kutztown by the same score in the night contest.

EDINBORO DEF. CHEYNEY (25-11, 25-9, 25-14)The Fighting Scots cruised to their first victory of the day in just three games.
Maria Concheck led the Edinboro attack with eight kills. The senior middle hitter also posted a .429 hitting percentage. Senior
Breanna Gardner contributed seven kills, while freshman
Morgyn Sharp tallied six. Senior
Katie Felix paced the Edinboro offense with 22 assists. Cheyney could only muster up ten total kills in the match as senior
Marah Maycock led the Fighting Scots' defense with 13 digs. Junior
Dee Montanez saw her first action of the 2015 season and totaled three kills and four digs, while also adding two service aces.

st win of the season helped the 2015 squad surpass the 20-2 record start set by the 1994 team. Junior
Latoya Hutchinson led the Edinboro attack with 12 kills, while PSAC kill leader
Challen Litwiler contributed 10. Sophomore
Sydney Trathen pulled double duty, totaling a team-high 32 assists and a team-high 14 digs.
The Fighting Scots are right back in action on Saturday, October 17 to conclude the PSAC Crossover. Edinboro travel to East Stroudsburg to take on West Chester at 12:30 p.m. and East Stroudsburg at 6 p.m.
