EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (October 17, 2015) – The Edinboro University volleyball increased their win streak to ten games and improved to 23-2 overall on the season, with a 12-1 mark in PSAC play by defeating West Chester and host East Stroudsburg on day two of the PSAC Crossover. This is the second time this season the Fighting Scots have won ten straight games.
Edinboro beat West Chester in the early game, 3-0, before also defeating East Stroudsburg by the same score in the night contest.

EDINBORO DEF. WEST CHESTER (25-13, 25-22, 25-15)The Fighting Scots won in just three sets over West Chester. Freshman

Challen Litwiler led the Edinboro attack with seven kills each. Juniors
Latoya Hutchinson and
Victoria Severo each contributed six a piece. Severo also led the squad with a team-high .462 hitting percentage. Sophomore
Sydney Trathen paced the Edinboro offense with 30 assists, while also contributing 11 digs. Senior
Marah Maycock led the Fighting Scots defense with 16 digs.
EDINBORO DEF. EAST STROUDSBURG (25-10, 25-22, 25-14)The Fighting Scots took their second decision of the day in just three sets as well. Severo led the Fighting Scots offense with 11 kills and a .562 hitting percentage. Litwiler totaled six kills and added three more service aces to her PSAC leading total of 46. Trathen tallied 16 assists in the win. Maycock once again led the Fighting Scots defense with 18 digs, while Severo and Screptock led the squad with two block solos each.
The Fighting Scots return home to McComb Fieldhouse to host a couple PSAC West opponents. On Friday, October 23 at 7 p.m. the Fighting Scots take on California(Pa.). On Saturday, October 24 Edinboro squares off with Seton Hill at 4 p.m.
