ResultsEDINBORO, Pa. (November 13, 2015) – The Edinboro men's swimming team took six out of 11 races Friday night to defeat Allegheny, 116-88, in the McComb Fieldhouse.

Justin Ransel, Franics Folz,
Micah Cattell, and
Luke Frederick each finished the competition with two first-place finishes.
The Fighting Scots four-man group of
Marcus Grosso,
Luke Frederick,
Justin Ransel, and
Francis Folz finished first in the 200 yard medley relay, posting a time of 1:38.36. Folz and Ransel later paired up with
Alex Shugarts and
Micah Cattell to take first place in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:27.57.
Micah Cattell earned a victory in the 200 yard freestyle, clocking in at 1:47.32, narrowly outpacing his teammate, Folz, by 0.67 seconds.
Marcus Grosso took the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:03.08, beating Allegheny's Matt Nardozzi to the finish line by 0.71 seconds.
Luke Frederick added another victory for Edinboro in the 200 yard IM, landing a time of 2:05.07.
Josh Beabout posted a first-place finish in the 500 yard freestyle at a time of 4:52.93.
The Edinboro men will compete again at PSAC opponent Bloomsburg on Saturday, November 21 at 1:00 p.m.
