ERIE, Pa. (November 7, 2015) – The Edinboro University volleyball fell to local rival Gannon by a score of 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. This loss marks the first time the Fighting Scots have lost consecutive games this season. The Fighting Scots are now 28-4 overall and 17-3 in the PSAC West, while Gannon improves to 22-7 overall with a 15-9 mark in PSAC play.
Sophomore
Challen Litwiler led the Edinboro attack with 13 kills, while junior
Victoria Severo and sophomore
Sydney Trathen added six apiece. Trathen also totaled a team-high .417 hitting percentage and paced the offense with 20 assists.
Senior
Marah Maycock paced the Fighting Scots defensively with 12 digs, while Trathen totaled 10. Severo led the squad with a team-high three block assists.
The Fighting Scots return home to McComb Fieldhouse for the regular season home finale on Tuesday, November 10. Edinboro hosts Ursuline for a 7 p.m. match.
