Micah Cattell and
Josh Beabout were honored on Senior Day Saturday and combined for four wins to help the Fighting Scots beat Shippensburg, 113-89, at McComb Fieldhouse.
The Edinboro squad of Cattell,
Marcus Grosso,
Luke Frederick, and
Justin Ransel took first place in the 200 yard medley relay, clocking in at 1:37.90. Cattell, Grosso, and Ransel later teamed up with
Alex Shugarts to win the 200 yard relay at a time of 1:28.31.
Beabout posted a first-place finish in the 1000 yard freestyle at a time of 10:24.81, then took the 500 yard freestyle, clocking in at 5:01.85.
Francis Folz had two wins on the day, taking the 200 yard freestyle at 1:47.04 and winning the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 48.36.
Edinboro men's swimming returns to the pool next Saturday when they hit the road to face Tiffin at 1:00 p.m.
