WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Edinboro University volleyball team notched it's final road regular season victory of the year with a 3-1 victory over PSAC Northeast leading West Chester, thanks in part to an impressive offensive showing from senior
Victoria Severo. Edinboro recorded the victory by set scores of 25-13, 19-25, 25-10 and 27-25. With the win, the second consecutive for the Fighting Scots, Edinboro improved to 19-6 overall and 11-2 in PSAC competition. The Golden Rams dropped to 18-8 overall and 6-7 in the conference.
Severo's outstanding night was highlighted by a team-high 14 kills on 19 attempts for a .737 hitting percentage, the second highest mark of the season for the senior. Severo has now reached double-figures in kills in six of the last eight contests and has topped a .500 hitting percentage on six occasions. She also led Edinboro on the defensive end in the victory, totaling three block assists and one block solo.

Challen Litwiler racked up 12 kills while senior
Latoya Hutchinson added 10. Litwiler also led the Fighting Scots with a team-high 13 digs. Sophomore
Megan Screptock and freshman
Molly Owens each finished with seven kills apiece. Junior
Sydney Trathen paced the Fighting Scots offense, dishing out 41 assists.

Taylor Palowski joined Litwiler with double-figure digs, totaling 11 apiece. Trathen and freshman
Jordan Van Oss both finished with 9 digs.
The Golden Rams offense was led by Karleigh Lutz with 13 kills. She was the only member of West Chester to finish with double-digit kills. Nicki Yates finished with a game-high 24 digs while Emily Ahern added 16. Victoria Cruciani totaled three block solos.
Edinboro now returns home to the friendly confines of McComb Fieldhouse to conclude the regular season. The Fighting Scots play the next five games at home, beginning with a match against East Stroudsburg next Friday, November 4, at 7 p.m.
