EDINBORO, Pa. – Former Edinboro University wide receiver
Jordan Williams has received an invitation to participate in the Buffalo Bills Rookie Minicamp next week. He will report to the minicamp on Thursday, May 11, with the three-day minicamp running from Friday, May 12 to Sunday, May 14.

For the native of Orchard Park, N.Y., who played as a prepster at Bishop Timon-St. Jude, the chance to play for the hometown Bills is a dream come true. Williams participated in the University at Buffalo Pro Day on March 15 in front of approximately ten NFL scouts. A strong showing there led to an invitation to a local tryout hosted by the Bills a month later, ultimately leading to the invitation to the upcoming Rookie Minicamp.
Williams played three seasons for Edinboro, finishing his career with 84 receptions for 981 yards with 11 TDs. His specialty was the highlight real catch, including a spectacular one-handed touchdown grab in the back corner of the end zone in the 2016 season opener at St. Joseph's.
Williams played for the Fighting Scots in 2012 and 2013, before transferring to Liberty University, where he played defensive back. He returned to Edinboro a year ago, and enjoyed an outstanding campaign. He finished with 54 receptions for 664 yards and 9 TDs.
