SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Edinboro volleyball team made quick work of their opponents Saturday, sweeping both their opponents, 3-0. The Fighting Scots defeated American International 25-17, 25-19, 25-19 in a rematch of Edinboro's 3-2 win from Friday night before claiming the win over Southern New Hampshire 25-22, 25-18, 25-13. The wins improved the Fighting Scots' record to 10-1 on the season.

Challen Litwiler led Edinboro with 11 kills and 14 digs.

Sydney Trathen had a match high 21 assists.

Litwiler and
Cierah Jackson both had double-digital kills with 12 and 15 respectively. Jackson hit for .682 on the match, a season high for Edinboro. Litwiler scored her eighth double-double of the season with 15 digs. Trathen had 36 assists and 104 for the weekend. She is averaging 8.2 per set on the season.
Edinboro returns to the road next weekend when they visit Pitt-Johnstown on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7:00 p.m. The next day the Fighting Scots visit Lock Haven, with a 1:00 p.m. start time.
