Edinboro Falls in Overtime to Lock Haven, 1-0

EDINBORO, Pa. – Lock Haven's Jordan Shoff scored with less than two minutes into overtime as the Edinboro women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss on Saturday evening at Sox Harrison Stadium. The loss left the Fighting Scots at 1-2-1 overall and in conference play, while the Bald Eagles picked up their first win of the year and are now 1-2-0 and also 1-2-0 in league play.

Edinboro dominated in regulation, but the Fighting Scots could never find the back of the net as LHU goalkeeper Bree Hilty had six saves. Edinboro held a 17-4 edge in shots over the first ninety minutes, but Shoff was able to beat Edinboro goalkeeper Sarah Baskey on the lone shot of the overtime.

Shoff's game-winner came following a corner kick, with a scramble ensuing in front of the net, and Shoff scoring from five yards out on a chip shot at 91:50.

Edinboro will look to snap a two-game losing streak on Wednesday, September 13, playing at California(Pa.) at 5:30 p.m.
