  • Edinboro jumped out to a 13-4 lead as Daylon Harris made a pair of 3-pointers and Alex Jay one. That would be part of an 11-0 Cal run, with the Vulcans holding a 35-29 lead at the half.
  • The Vulcans built the lead to 13 points just two minutes into the second half at 44-31, as Cal opened the half on a 9-2 run. Following an Edinboro timeout, the Fighting Scots came roaring back with a run of their own. The 11-3 run, with DeAnthony Owens and Harris scoring five points apiece, pulled Edinboro to within five points at 47-42 with 15:49 left.
